An Intelligent and Courageous Politician
When I read this interview with Czech President Vaclav Klaus, I wanted to get on the next plane to Czechoslovakia. This man’s mind is superior to any American politician I have heard.

Wow! I LIKE this guy. I can imagine the sort of looks he get when he goes to various summits of European heads of state!
You know, a while back there was talk about changing the constitution so that the Austrian-born Economic Girly Man who is the Governor of Caly-fornia (a.k.a Ted Kennedy's nephew-in-law) could eventually run for President.
I say let's change it so that this guy can head up the GOP ticket in 2008.
Can you imagine the look on Hillary's face if she learned that she would have to debate this fellow on national television rather than the gutless wonders that the GOP usually puts forth.
I will grant you the courageous label for Klaus, but intelligent? It only takes a modicum of intelligence (applied in the right direction) to recognize the farce that is the global warming scare.
Mind you, he might be quite intelligent. I just can't tell from that interview.
"Senator James M. Inhofe , the Oklahoma Republican who famously declared global warming a "hoax," said this week that the skeptics were gaining momentum. He said President Vaclav Klaus of the Czech Republic and scientists from France and Israel, among others, are now among the doubters."
I graduated from Eisenhower High School in Rialto, California in 1975. Did four years in the USAF as a chinese linguist. Got my BA in Theatre Arts from California State College, San Bernardino. Went through the Professional Program in Screenwriting at UCLA. Have written plays for the stage and comedy for radio morning shows.
Lately I've been acting a lot. I've been in shows by Shakespeare, Agatha Christie, Edmond Rostand and Maurice Maeterlinck -- not a bad run!
People ask, "Why Myrhaf?" Myrhaf is a character in an historical novel I'm writing called Viking Blood. He is a mentor figure who dies in the first chapter. I thought the name would give my blog some style, some flair and a title readers would remember. My real name is William Greeley. Although I am an Objectivist and often write about the philosophy on this blog, I do not speak for anyone but myself. I would urge those who want to learn about Objectivism to read Ayn Rand's novels and nonfiction books and then Leonard Peikoff's Objectivism: The Philosophy of Ayn Rand.

Oh, you have senator Inhofe over there:
