It Ain't Lookin' Good

Woke up to the sound of a civil war,
Wondered what the screamin' was for.
Looked out the window to get a peek
Bobby Joe asked, "How's the weather, Zeke?"

It ain't lookin' good.
It ain't lookin' good.
Daddy's done been drinkin',
Mama's got a gun.
It won't be much fun.

My Daddy is a family man, you bet.
About as good a man as you can get.
Got too much love for just one family.
Got another wife in Franklin, Tennessee.

It ain't lookin' good.
It ain't lookin' good.
Daddy's done been drinkin',
Mama's got a gun.
It won't be much fun.

We're a tight-knit family, I guess,
Tighter than Aunt Eloise's dress.
If you want some proof, I know you do,
My Dad's my father and my uncle, too.

It ain't lookin' good...

My daddy took to gardening this spring,
But he don't grow no ordinary thing.
His agriculture makes me scratch my head,
He grows some funny weeds out in the shed.

It ain't lookin' good.
It ain't lookin' good.
Daddy's smokin' something,
Mama's got a gun.
It won't be much fun.

Now you just need a tune. Sounds like a good song for Charlie Daniels. ;)

Oh, I have a tune. It's old school country, like Waylon Jennings or Hank Williams. The music comes fast to me. The lyrics are hard.
