They simply support a mechanism that is different from what the Democrats support. Where the Dems prefer the Communist-leaning model of more direct government "ownership" and control, the GOP prefers the indirect National-Socialist model of forcing private businesses to act in "the public interest".<BR/><BR/>The above is where the bulk of both the parties are.
