Calling All History Buffs
What is the best history book you ever read?
I would like to read a good history. Any suggestions?
For fiction, I recommend Colleen McCullough's "The First Man in Rome", which is based on actual historical events during the Ancient Roman Republic.
For non-fiction, I recommend Fawn Brodie's "Thomas Jefferson: An Intimate History". While it has been called a "psychobiography", I still found it to be an interesting view of Jefferson.
